Got a story to tell? Whether you’re just starting out or already an accomplished playwright, now’s your moment. Submit a 10-minute play for a chance to see your work brought to life at Union County Playmakers’ New Play Event. Performances take the stage June 14 at 3 PM—submission deadline is May 16, 2026. Writers ages 15 and older from Union and surrounding counties may submit original work (no adaptations) that has not been previously published or performed and is suitable for general or youth audiences. Submissions may be rejected if they are determined to be inappropriate or if they cannot be produced under the production restrictions of time and space. No more than two scripts per playwright may be submitted. Playmakers will provide the space for auditions, one technical rehearsal, and performance, and may also provide minimal set pieces. Playmakers will also promote the event, hold auditions, and assist with identifying a director.

- Submit your script no later than MAY 16, 2026.
